PS (Phosphatidylserine) Caps
100 mg, 100 capsules
Item Catalog Number: 00368

Phosphatidylserine is required for normal cellular structure and function. Brain tissues are especially rich in phosphatidylserine (PS), but aging causes a decline in the PS content of cells throughout the body. Research has shown that in addition to improving neural function, PS enhances energy metabolism in all cells, memory, concentration, learning and word choice. In the brain, PS helps maintain cell membrane integrity and youthful synaptic plasticity.85-94 Studies suggested chronic supplementation of phosphatidylserine significantly decreases cortical activity in the brain before and after induced stress, resulting in a more relaxed state.95,96

Consumption of phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.87,89,95,96 However, the FDA concludes that there is still little scientific evidence supporting this claim.
