| Caution |

Those individuals currently taking anticoagulant drugs should consult their personal physician before use, this is especially important for those taking the anticoagulant Coumadin® (warfarin) as it has a known interaction with supplemental vitamin K. If pregnant or intending to become pregnant, do not use this product. Do not use if taking antacids, H2-receptor blockers (e.g. Zantac®), or proton-pump inhibitors (e.g. Nexium®), as these drugs may impede the conversion of I3C to active metabolites. Individuals consuming more than 2,000 IU/day of vitamin D (from diet and supplements) should obtain a serum 23-hydroxy vitamin D measurement. Vitamin D supplementation is not recommended for individuals with hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels). Individuals with kidney stones, gout or high uric acid levels should not take this product. |
