Healthy Hair is a topical spray formula developed in Europe, to be used on the hair and scalp daily to encourage healthy hair growth cycles in men and women.1 For existing hair, this formula may lengthen the amount of time that the hair stays in the hair follicle. Included in Healthy Hair are natural plant extracts which help stimulate circulation to the scalp. Enhanced blood flow to the scalp may improve the delivery of oxygen and nutrients.
Healthy Hair is made with key plant compounds to help encourage robust hair health:
- Esculin, isolated from Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse chestnut), is a coumarin derivative.
- Ximenynic acid (XA), found in a variety of plants including Ximenia africana and Santalum album, is a diunsaturated fatty acid.
- Lauric acid, an n-dodecanoic fatty acid present in Serenoa repens (saw palmetto).
Working together, these bioactive compounds and fatty acids help nourish and invigorate the hair and scalp. This European patented formula produced significant increases in the number of hairs in the anagen (active growth) phase compared to placebo and baseline. Participants using the placebo saw more hair density loss during the study compared to those using this formula. |
