Cruciferous Vegetable Soup
32 oz
Item Catalog Number: 01519

Processed food companies sell vegetable soups so cheaply because they load them with high-glycemic carbohydrates (rice, potatoes, pasta) that cost virtually nothing. They then add inexpensive ingredients like corn, sugar, and sometimes omega-6 fats (like cottonseed oil). So for less than $2, you get a relatively high-carb-calorie soup that provides virtually no health benefits.

Life Extension® has formulated vegetable soups that contain only healthy ingredients, including loads of cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, etc.), extra-virgin olive oil, and a host of other beneficial plant foods.  Each serving of Cruciferous Vegetable soup contains only 90 calories of the best-documented foods to maintain your precious health. You can consume the entire contents as a healthy lunch or dinner, or use a smaller portion of the soup as part of a meal for you (or several people).

Each 90 calorie serving of this new soup provides a full serving of the world's healthiest vegetables. The entire pouch supplies about 3.5 servings of these vegetables—with none of the cheap starch fillers found in commercial soups.

A new cooking process used to make the latest version of Cruciferous Vegetable Soup has resulted in improved consistency and taste.

Comments about Life Extension Cruciferous Vegetable Soup, 32 oz:

Good tasting soup for when you want something quick and easy that is healthy and nutritious. I usually pair it with a meat dish for a complete dinner. Main advantage is the health aspect, not taste.

The # of servings / serving size is a bit quirky. Expect it from large Co Marketing Depts but not LEF. ( 1 true serving of net Carbs {Total Carbs minus Fiber = net Carbs} is equal 9 grams of netCarbs)

Comments about Life Extension Cruciferous Vegetable Soup, 32 oz:

The taste and rich quality of this soup is so far superior in flavor and nutritional value to any other soup on the market. A small portion is so filling and satisfying that we often serve it as the main course. Kudos to LEF for taking the time to produce a mixture of much needed cruciferous vegetables into such a tasty meal.

Really enjoy being able to use a packaged product that is actually healthy for you. I spice it up with different peppers and use it as a base for grass-fed stew meats or other left-overs. I intend to keep it as a "must have" condiment in the pantry.
