National Nutrition Month: Informed dietary choices promote health and wellness.
The American Dietetic Association has designated March as National Nutrition Month®. The purpose of National Nutrition Month® is to increase awareness of the importance of informed dietary choices in combination with regular physical activity to promote health and wellness in people of all ages. A plant-based diet that is relatively low in saturated fats, refined sugar and empty calorie items will provide many of the minimum requirements of daily vitamins and minerals needed to prevent deficiency diseases. However, due to modern agricultural practices, the bountiful produce that is readily available in Western countries is often nutritionally devitalized, making nutritional supplements a requisite to obtaining optimal health. Daily vitamins and individual nutritional health supplements can fill in the gaps in nutrition created by modern living and ensure the best possible state of well-being as opposed to merely the absence of disease.
National Nutrition Month® is the ideal time to re-evaluate your own and your family's dietary habits and to identify areas that need improvement. Nutritional health supplements are the best way to ensure that our bodies and minds have all they need to perform at the best possible level each day, and to help maintain health and wellness through all stages of life.

It used to be thought that little could be done to postpone what nature has in store for us. Today, a growing scientific consensus indicates that individuals possess a great deal of control over how long they are going to live and what their state of health will be.
Mainstream medicine has relied on simple measures of preventing disease, such as controlling hypertension, yet many doctors are coming to the realization that additional steps can be taken to protect against premature aging and death.
In fact, the results of tens of thousands of scientific studies make it abundantly clear that following the proper lifestyle can add a significant number of healthy years to the average person's lifespan.
