Our primary focus at Contemporary Medicine is on Comprehensive Cancer Care and Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) for the treatment of selected cases of cancer. Life Extending Cancer Center offers a new therapy to heat cancer cells from the inside, called Intracellular Hyperthermia Therapy. Because cancer cells have a higher metabolism, they are hotter than their normal counterparts. Hyperthermia is based on the fact that tumor cells reach lethal temperatures sooner than normal cells. ICHT is a novel method that heats cells from the inside-out, which is more effective than external hyperthermia.
