Is there a waiting period before I begin receiving benefits?
No. Your Member Reward benefits start as soon as you join the Life Extension Foundation. All new members are sent a Life Extension Foundation membership card with their new membership kit. Renewing members are sent an updated card with their renewal gifts. This card entitles you to benefits from the Life Extension Foundation Buyers Club and from its program partners.
Is there a fee to participate in the Member Rewards program?
There is no fee to participate in Life Extension’s Member Rewards program. As a Life Extension Foundation member, you are automatically enrolled in our Member Rewards program. However, there is a monthly fee to sign up for the Life Extension Medical Discount Card. Some program partners also charge a fee to participate, but Life Extension has negotiated special rates for Foundation members. Other program partners offer discounts on services.
How do I enroll in any of the partner programs?
Some program partners ask that you mention a specific plan code or that you show your Life Extension Foundation membership card.
Will Life Extension be adding any other benefits to the Member Rewards program?
Life Extension strives to continually add value to the Member Rewards program. New program partners and reward level benefits updates will be posted as they are added on the Member Rewards web page at www.LifeExtension.com/rewards
Can I use my Life Extension Medical Discount Card to get additional discounts on Life Extension products or blood testing services?
No. The medical discount card can only be used for prescription medicines, vision services, chiropractic services, hearing services, dental services, and primary or specialized care physicians. Also, the Life Extension Medical Discount Card cannot be used in conjunction with any other health benefit or health insurance plan.
If I renew my membership early, what time period do you use to determine my Member Rewards classification?
If you renew your membership early, your Member Rewards classification will be determined based on the previous twelve months activity from the date you renew your membership. Your member expiration day will remain the same but be extended by a year, based on your renewal purchase. For example, if you are due to expire on February 31, 2004, and purchase your one-year renewal on February 1, 2004, your member rewards classification will be based on your purchases from February 1, 2003 to January 31, 2004. And, the new expiration date of your Life Extension Foundation membership will be February 31, 2005.
What if my category changes just one or two months after I renew my membership; will I receive a new membership card reflecting my new membership status?
No. Your membership status will only change each time you renew your card based on your previous 12 months purchases.
