Allicin, the active agent in garlic is capable of combating the cause of many infections by a bacteria, virus, or fungus organism in the plant - and in humans too. British scientists have developed a proprietary process through which the naturally occurring allicin in garlic is extracted, stabilized and concentrated. The end result is the potent and effective product Alli-C™.
Alli-C™ is a combination of AlliSure™ AC-23 allicin powder, vitamin C and citrus bioflavonoids. This combination works synergistically to support your body's immune system. The formula also has antioxidant properties. Alli-C™ capsules contain 300 mg odorless allicin powder, equivalent to eating 30-40 bulbs of garlic, but without getting "garlic breath".
Several strains of Staphylococcus bacteria have developed resistance to common antibiotics such as penicillin and streptomycin. In one study, resistant strains of Staphylococcus placed into a laboratory dish along with pure allicin powder were killed as a result of the actions of allicin.1
In a 12-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, allicin powder was found to reduce the incidence of the common cold by over 50%, as well as decrease the duration of symptoms in those already suffering from colds. 2
